About Joey Tanner
Joey Tanner
has been blazing the tracks since the age of 13. He is currently the 2009 "Rookie of the Year" for the I-racing.com ASA
Northwest Late Model Tour. Joey is now 20 years old & is a Portland, Oregon native. He currently attends
Mt. Hood Community College, in Troutdale Oregon, where he is majoring in Business Management. Joey grew up admiring his
father Jody Tanner, watching him race at the Portland Speedway & in the Nascar Northwest Tour since he was born.
His father won numerous races throughout his career & Joey was able to witness him earn the Late Model Championship in
2000 @ the Portland Speedway, so it’s easy for us to say, “Racing is in his blood!” Joey's goal
in racing is to become the next driver from the Northwest to make it to the next level of stock car racing.
